Buy full article Abstract The aim of the study was to estimate the impact on self-esteem made by a health care training educational project. The self-concept assessment was conducted by means of Bracken’s TMA. The results obtained would show that the educational experience had a “buffer” effect on the physiological fall of self-esteem. Health care training education concentrated on the individual could therefore (help to) maintain adequate levels of self-esteem which would in turn be of use in facing developmental events with more efficient coping strategies. Key Words: self-esteem , resilience , health education. 1. Correspondence to: Dr. Luciano Berti, Endocrinologo, Adolescentologo, Counsellor, Via Firenze 2, 24021 Albino (Bg) - Italy.
