(Use the headings: Objectives, Method, Analyses, Results, .Discussion) Abstract/Poster Proforma Instruction for Preparing Posters If your presentation is accepted as a poster, we recommend that your poster be prepared in a Power point file (one slide) with the following headings: Title: Quality and Quantity in Medical Education -Milan, May 27-28 2005 Title of the poster Author (s) Academic titles Institution Address E-mail-Phone-fax Abstracts must be sent by e-mail to Prof. Claudio Violato, PhD violato@ucalgary.ca and cc to Dr Samantha Romanelli (education coordinator) to smm@unambro.it Abstract Submission Procedure (ASP) 1 - All Abstracts submitted will be considered and review 2 - You will receive notification of a decision within two weeks of submission. 3 - Within one week of acceptance, the author must send the registration form by fax with the copy of the bank remittance or credit card payment. 4 - Abstracts of the registered authors will be published in the Abstract Book on the Università Ambrosiana web site (www.unambro.it). This book will be printed subsequently and included in the conference registration materials. 5 - We aim to accept no more than 250-300 abstracts NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE All Abstracts will be evaluated according to the following criteria: relevance to the Conference theme, originality, theoretical significance, precision and clarity of presentation. Authors will be notified within 14 days from submission as to the review board’s decision on acceptance. In any case, the deadline for notification is April 15 2005. ATTENTION: REGISTRATION AND FEE PAYMENT Speakers and presenters will be notified of acceptance by April 30. However, the final acceptance of an oral paper together with the printing of its abstract in the conference book is dependent upon the receipt of payment of the registration fee. |
