COURSE ADVANCED RESEARCH METHODS IN MEDICAL EDUCATION: STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELS AND MULTIVARIATE ANALYSIS PROFESSOR: Claudio Violato PhD – Professor, Director of the International Graduate School of Psychology, Professor and Director of the Medical Education and Research Unit, Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary (Canada), Director of the Dept. of Family Science and Development of the Ambrosiana University of Milan. Professor Violato has published more than 200 articles, monographs, books and papers. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course focuses on the study of research design and statistical analysis including a broad overview of the variety of methods for research in medical education and related sciences. There is both a theoretical basis in lectures and seminars as well as applied approaches in laboratory exercises. A variety of research tools will be explored and utilized.
